“Getting the Buggers to Behave”

In this session Sue will speak about practical ideas and strategies for behaviour management, based on her extensive experience and research in this area.

Sue Cowley is a writer and teacher, and author of 30 books about education. Her best seller Getting the Buggers to Behave has been translated into ten languages and is a set text on teacher education courses. She has written for various publications, including the TES, Teach Primary and Nursery World. She was called as an expert witness on behaviour at the Education Select Committee. After training as a primary teacher, Sue taught English and Drama in secondary schools in the UK and overseas. She works internationally as a presenter and teacher trainer, and she has helped to run her local preschool for 10 years.
